Hilton Hotel Parc 55 is a modern, multi-storey hotel smack dab in the middle of downtown San Francisco. The Perfect location for tourists and out-of-towners like me, where one can simply walk to all the local attractions including Westfield San Francisco Mall.

Rooms are clean, neat and comfortable, offering cable TV and air conditioning. Sadly for a four star I was a bit disappointed, as the decor seemed firmly stuck in the ‘90s. The bathroom was a bit outdated, with shower over bath and heavy shower curtain.

Positives: This is a 100% smoke free hotel, with a gym, business centre and they have wifi….somewhat.

Wifi must be purchased in-room, unless you’re a Hilton Honours loyalty member, whilst it’s free in the lobby. Not good guys, especially when it’s free on the streets.

I cannot fault the service, the staff were all amazing! Super friendly and attentive, from the front desk to the doorman who hailed me a cab.

One can dine at their in-house restaurant for breakfast (Fantastic Buffet! Love the waffles) and there is a bar with lounge area for drinks. There is also Barbary Coast Coffee house on the corner to grab a quick cuppa before you head out on your way.

Great for a quick few days business trip or if you want to be in the heart of things at a decent price!

Should I go back to San Francisco, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop over at this hotel again.
