I fell in love with the effortlessly cool, neutral, seaside-chic palette, in true Kove Collection Signature style. Not to mention the panoramic views of our majestic Table Mountain whilst dining al fresco.

As 2018 swiftly comes to a close, I find myself taking time to reflect on the past year.

Offering a modern seafood menu, from freshly shucked oysters, to sushi, salads, vegetarian dishes, meat or chicken, dim sum, yakitori skewers, bowls, wraps and sweet treats to share, Firefish has something to suit everyone’s palate.
What’s new on the menu?
Starters like Fried Goat’s Cheese with sweet chilli & apple and an all-new Vegetarian offering of Pan-Roasted Asparagus with white bean hummus, walnut pesto & flatbread; Herbed Barley Salad and Grilled Cauliflower Steaks. New Main Course dishes include Pan-Roasted Swordfish; a White Fish Sandwich; a Buttermilk-Fried Chicken Burger and Baby Back Ribs, while Desserts now include Iced Nougat with salted almonds, sour cream & honey jelly and a tantalising Lemon Tart.

FRIED GOATS’ CHEESE Sweet chilli & apple 
OYSTERS ON THE HALF SHELL (cocktail, medium, large)Saldanha Bay Pacific Au naturel or mignonette
GRILLED NORWEGIAN SALMON Fennel, citrus & citrus rice
GRILLED KINGKLIP Orange, fine herbs, pink pepper & citrus rice 
Tiger Prawns with lemon Butter & fries
ICED NOUGAT Salted almonds, sour cream & honey jelly 
BAKED CHEESECAKE Pineapple sorbet, pineapple & coconut salsa
Delicate exotic flavours danced on my tongue a I devoured each lip-smacking morsel. I’m a sweets kind of gal, so if I had to choose I’d say the desserts rocked my world! From the plated presentation (yes I eat with my eyes) to the effervescent service of our waiter, Narcisse, I couldn’t fault my dining experience at Firefish, even if I tried.
Thank you Firefish for the invitation to dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
