Our rustic quarters for our first evening, was the beautifully restored 91 on Long.
The warm wooden floors and rafters with the old fashioned gas heaters took me on a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Fond memories of ouma and oupa’s farm sprang to mind.
With 3 rooms all en-suite, a kitchen, dining room and outside dining area with a large stoep and a braai, overlooking the vineyard and olive grove. This is ideal accommodation for friends wanting a little getaway for Wacky Wine Festival.
Hard to resist such country charm and even harder still, to not love the clawed foot victorian style bath (another for the registry!) . Modern, elegant country chic style home with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, long and dining area. oh and I almost forgot the fireplace! what more could you ask for when out in the winelands. Load shedding hit us, but fortunately the cottage was dotted with romantic and yet functional
candles.
